End User License Agreement
Last updated 18 September 2026 · BlueInstinct SL
This agreement covers your use of Pixlet: the home launcher, every Pixlet (app) available through the Pix Store, and the pixlet.blueinstinct.com website (together, the "Software"). BlueInstinct SL ("we", "us") is a company registered in Spain. By installing or using the Software you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't install or use it.
1. What you're getting
The Software runs on a supported ESP32-based board that you own or control (see supported devices) - we don't sell the board itself unless stated otherwise on a specific product page. The launcher and every free Pixlet cost nothing. Some Pixlets are paid: buying one unlocks a license key tied to your Pixlet Store account, which the device checks against a registered account token before it will download or keep running that Pixlet.
2. License grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the Software on hardware you own or control, for your own use. For a paid Pixlet, that license lasts as long as your license key is valid and unrevoked (see our Refund Policy for when a key gets revoked). This license doesn't sell you the software - we and our licensors keep all ownership of it.
3. What you can't do
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share a paid Pixlet's firmware image or license key with anyone else.
- Circumvent, disable, or attempt to bypass the account or license-key checks a Pixlet performs before running.
- Reverse engineer the Software beyond what applicable law expressly allows despite this restriction.
- Use the Software to build or distribute a competing product derived from the paid firmware images.
- Use a Pixlet (in particular the Bluetooth keyboard/macro app) to access, control, or disrupt a device or account you don't have the right to use.
Some Pixlets and shared board-support code are built on open-source components; those components remain governed by their own licenses regardless of anything in this agreement.
4. Your hardware, your risk
Installing Pixlet replaces the firmware on a third-party board that we don't manufacture. We've tested it on the boards listed on supported devices, and the installer only touches the bootloader, partition table and Pixlet's own partitions - but flashing firmware always carries some risk of a device that won't boot, and we can't guarantee a specific outcome on hardware we don't control. We are not responsible for damage to, or loss of use of, your device, microSD card, or any data stored on it.
5. Not professional advice
Pixlets like Crypto Monitor, Markets and Currency display third-party financial data for convenience and are not investment, trading or financial advice - prices can be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable, and you should verify anything you rely on elsewhere before acting on it. Vertigo Relief guides general BPPV home exercises for informational purposes only; it is not a medical diagnosis or a substitute for professional care - stop if you feel sharp pain or new symptoms and consult a doctor. We are not liable for decisions made based on any Pixlet's output.
6. Accounts and data
Most Pixlets need a free Pixlet Store account to download, even when they're free themselves - this proves a registered account exists and lets a paid Pixlet's license key travel with you. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials and device pairing token to yourself, and for everything that happens through your account. Photos, music and other files you put on your own microSD card are your content and your responsibility - make sure you have the rights to anything you load onto the device.
7. Updates and changes
The launcher and Pixlets can update themselves from the Pix Store. We may change, add to, or discontinue a Pixlet or a feature at any time, including ones you've already paid for, though we will honor the Refund Policy for anything that stops working as sold within its window. We're not obligated to keep every past version available.
8. Termination
This license ends automatically if you break these terms. We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, license-key sharing, or abuse of the refund process. You can stop using the Software at any time by uninstalling it; sections of this agreement that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) still apply after termination.
9. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that third-party data sources it depends on (market data, weather, sports scores, news) will stay available or accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlueInstinct SL is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software, including damage to hardware, lost data, or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific Pixlet is capped at the amount you paid for that Pixlet in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in this section limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Spain. If you're a consumer resident in the EU or UK, you keep whatever mandatory consumer-protection rights those laws give you regardless of anything above. Nothing here affects your rights under Lemon Squeezy's own terms as the merchant of record for your purchase.
12. Changes to this agreement
We may update this agreement as Pixlet changes. We'll update the date at the top when we do; continuing to use the Software after a change means you accept the new terms.
